Let us
begin with the obligatory pun.
The
Ghost Rider is riding again… and this time… there’s hell to pay.
Whew. I
feel better now that I wrote that.
So
about that trailer. "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance." Let's have at it…
You
know what? Aside from the series’ customary dumb dialogue and silly
acting, this looks like a pretty solid action movie. The effects seem to have
radically improved since part one and it looks way more polished.
From
what I gather, part two is about the devil looking for a new body and there’s
some kid involved and the Ghost Rider has to stop it all. It almost makes
sense. Plus, it’s kind of hard to make the devil a crappy villain, you know,
seeing as he’s the ultimate villain. A comprehensible story and a useful
villain puts part two WAY ahead of part one already, but I won’t get my hopes
up.
Although,
I am a little concerned about the number of bug-eyed stares contained in the
trailer. It seemed like each character had at least three. So much intensity.
